America's Next Top Model: Cycle 5 - Episode 2
Everyone gets a hair make-over, and as punishment, Cassandra, the beauty queen from Texas, gets it short. It actually works for her, but she doesn't understand why they had to cut her pretty hair, so she cries.
Meanwhile everyone is getting annoyed at our girl Lisa because she's doing a great job at... well, modeling. And Kim, the lesbian, continues to impress. A couple of subplots have now been put into motion, but I'm just getting lost in the high-school-ness of it all. I really don't want to see a girl whine about her hair for one hour.
Ebony, the high school girl, gets eliminated after being psyched out by Lisa.

I really like Sarah, with the big lips, i think she might suprise us all. But in the end Lisa will win, shes got it.

I like Kim, She looks so pretty even without make-up. She has a fresh girl next door look to her with a touch of punk, because of her hair style. Kim also has those gorgeous baby blue eyes. I also like Sarah, she`s very pretty and her clumsiness just adds to her appeal.

For the first time, in 5 cycles of Top Model, I was disturbed by this show. Long has it been in human history, that the cutting off of (particularly long) hair, has been a punishment, meant to shame. Whining? Maybe. Did you not watch the reaction of the other girls, particularly Kim, with her thumbs up signal. And 18 year old Ebony trying to read emotion into this? Perhaps Cassandra was not whining, but trying to maintain her cool.
I realize that they are modelizing these young women, but it was the things that went BEFORE Cassandra's dramatically different hair cut and color, that makes it seem calculated.
As I watched the show, regardless of how I felt about Cassandra, I truly felt that this move was made to bring embarrassment to her. For the first time, I was disturbed by those 3 people I admire, and that young women must trust if they are to be on the show.

cassandra makes me filp out.. okay maybe she's young, beautiful and is a beauty queen.. but gadd! she's also sch a big drama queen.. like please.. stop her!

Cassandra might be my favorite (looks-wise) but she is so. friggin'. short. I think that'll be a huge challenge for her in the future. Actually most of these girls are short, aren't they? Bre, Nicole, and Kyle are also amongst my favorites right now. Jayla looked better pre-makeover. They need to cut her extensions ASAP.
I thought Sarah's closeup was good but when I see her "in person" (in front of the judges) it's just not workin' for me at all.

Lisa is all cross-eyed and annoying. I loathe her. She looks like the boy who lives across the street from me, who has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
I'm all about Coryn, even if she does kinda resemble RuPaul at times. She seems sweet.
I, for one, cannot WAIT to see what happens between Kim and Cassandra. That's hot, and I don't even dig the ladies.

I just hope Sarah wins. like yeah she is kinda odd, but yes she is so unique, with her lips and other features. i really hope she wins.

I like Kyle best at the moment I think she is really pretty, she just stands out. I also like Jayla, Sarah and Lisa. But I think Kim is so cool.

I like Bre she is a sweet girl and she is very pretty even though i dont think she is going to win i want her to. Lisa she is good but Tyra dont want no alcoholic and she dont need no one that think that they are perfect. Americas next top model is basically for beginners so if she think she already have what it takes why isnt she a model yet. I rooting for Bre,and Nik ya'll betta work. and Bre's runway walk is fierce!!!

Lisa is strange at times but I think it is obvious that she is the best model and that underneath it all she is a very sweet girl. She is trying to help the other girls but unfortunately, it comes off as being arrogant. Anyway, she is beautiful and talented and deserves to win!!!

Kims goona win the whole thing... she's the whole package, and if the judges don't see that then they're blind! Seriously though, kim has it all, including the smarts it takes to win the whole thing!
oh ya, one more thing... the whole kiss thing between kim & sarah... H-O-T!

KIM is HOT!!! And she is learning really fast. Her pictures look good, and she has a great personality. Honesty and simplicity just shines from her.

Lisa is a little annoying but I can tell she's going to provide some good conflict between all the models. I think for that reason alone, she's going to be on the show until the end. I was a little suprised that Ebony was the one eliminated though.
